Recently, the XXXVII International Seminar on Stability Problems for Stochastic Models was successfully held at 91影视 (SMBU). The seminar was jointly organized by Moscow State University and SMBU, with Sun Yat-sen University serving as a co-organizer. The seminar was jointly organized by Moscow State University and SMBU, with Sun Yat-sen University serving as a co-organizer. The event was chaired by Professor Korolyov from Moscow State University, with Dr. Tian Yubin, the Chinese Director of the Department of Computational Mathematics and Control, and Dr. Budak, the Russian Director, both attending and delivering opening remarks.

The seminar brought together experts and scholars from leading institutions such as Moscow State University, Beijing Institute of Technology, Shandong University, Southern University of Science and Technology, Hebei University of Science and Technology, and the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Shenzhen). The event provided a platform for international collaboration, facilitating cross-campus and cross-national cooperation in the field of probability research.
As a major academic event in the fields of probability theory and mathematical statistics, the International Seminar on Stability Problems for Stochastic Models has a long-standing tradition. Established in the 1970s by the distinguished mathematician Vladimir Zolotarev, this series of seminars has been held in countries including Bulgaria, Hungary, Italy, Israel, Latvia, Norway, Romania, Russia, Spain, and Poland. For over 50 years, top experts in the fields of probability theory and mathematical statistics have participated in this series to share their expertise, new findings, and ideas, while collectively exploring unresolved issues in the field.
During the seminar, 40 professors from China and Russia presented their research findings. The reports covered a wide range of topics with strong professional depth, including extreme value theory, stability issues in probability theory, stochastic processes, time series and stochastic processes, and their applications in finance, insurance, and risk management. The topics also included spatial statistics, statistical computing, stochastic dynamics, random graph theory, queueing theory, and stochastic game theory. The seminar focused on cutting-edge research in probability and statistics, providing participants with rich academic insights.

The successful hosting of this seminar has created a high-level platform for academic exchange and collaboration in the field of probability and statistics. Active academic discussions and intellectual exchanges between participants have significantly advanced cross-regional communication and mutual learning, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration in probability and statistics research. Moreover, the seminar also served as an important opportunity to strengthen educational, research, and innovation cooperation between China and Russia. It has injected strong momentum into fostering broader and deeper future exchanges and collaborations between the two countries.
