On November 24, 91影视 (SMBU) held the unveiling ceremony for the Faculty of Economics Experimental Teaching Center / Digital Economy Innovation Laboratory in the No. 2 Laboratory Building. The ceremony was attended by President Prof. Li Hezhang, First Vice President Prof. Sergey Ivanchenco, Corresponding Members of the Russian Academy of Sciences Prof. Afoncev and Prof. Shirov, Assistant to the First Vice President Prof. Karmekov, Vice President Assistant Prof. Wan Meina, and representatives from leading enterprises including EVE Holding, Shenzhen Edan Precision Instruments, Laoshi Baoshi Electromagnetic Technology, BYD R&D, China Wanda Group, as well as China Agricultural Bank Shenzhen Branch, Guosen Securities, Kingdee Software, Weaver Network, and iUX Labs. Leaders from the university’s various administrative departments were also invited.
The unveiling ceremony was jointly hosted by Prof. Meng Fanchen, Chinese Director of the Faculty of Economics, and Associate Prof. Niktushkina, Russian Director. In their remarks, they introduced the history and functions of the laboratory and expressed sincere gratitude for the support from university leadership and administrative departments in developing the faculty and laboratory facilities.

Representatives of intangible cultural heritage from Shenzhen presented a variety of artistic performances to celebrate the opening.


Overview of the Faculty of Economics Experimental Teaching Center / Digital Economy Innovation Laboratory:
The center consists of four main laboratories—Financial Investment and Analysis, FinTech and Innovation, Intelligent Decision-Making and Analysis, and Operations Management and Simulation—and is equipped with a multifunctional digital case analysis room. Together, these facilities provide a multi-level, immersive teaching and research environment fully supporting the integration of “classroom + research + industry.”
Financial Investment and Analysis Laboratory: Designed to meet the practical teaching needs of finance and economics courses and financial data analysis, it is equipped with advanced teaching and research tools such as financial ticker displays, global financial data analysis terminals, investment banking teaching systems, and quantitative investment trading platforms. The lab creates a simulated financial teaching environment and advanced experimental teaching system, supporting experimental courses in financial investment and analysis, as well as research in macroeconomics, industry analysis, public company financial analysis, stocks, futures, and options.
FinTech and Innovation Laboratory: Focused on exploring applications of emerging technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and big data in the financial sector, the lab provides forward-looking financial technology experimental systems. Key applications include intelligent investment advisory, blockchain finance, digital RMB, supply chain finance, and securities issuance. The platform also supports teaching and research in blockchain finance, digital currency encryption, data processing, and machine learning.
Intelligent Decision-Making and Analysis Laboratory: Primarily used for cognitive and behavioral experiments, this lab supports research and teaching in experimental psychology, cognitive psychology, economic psychology, and decision-making psychology. Equipped with a multi-modal data acquisition and fusion system, eye-tracking system, EEG signal acquisition and analysis system, and physiological signal recording and analysis software, the lab enables study of cognitive processes such as perception, attention, memory, and thinking in economics and psychology research.
Operations Management and Simulation Laboratory: Utilizing internationally advanced virtual simulation technology, this lab replicates the full spectrum of modern enterprise operations, including product development, procurement, marketing, sales, human resources, and finance. Users can interact via touchscreens to view local, domestic, Asian, and international market information on raw material supply and product sales, supporting strategic enterprise decision-making. Additionally, an XR immersive teaching environment has been created, enabling digital virtual simulation instruction, enhancing engagement and understanding, and providing students and researchers with innovative tools and perspectives.
