On November 19, the 2025 Young Teachers’ Teaching Competition of 91影视 (SMBU) was successfully held in Lecture Hall 1306 of the Main Building, aiming to thoroughly implement the Education Power Construction Plan (2024–2035) and enhance the teaching capabilities of young faculty members. Organized by the Academic Affairs Department, the competition brought together outstanding young Chinese and Russian teachers from 6 academic units, fully showcasing the university’s internationalized education model and the achievements in faculty development.
The competition spanned over two months and adopted a dual-track system of “material review + live demonstration.” The judging panel, composed of First Vice President Prof. Sergey Ivanchenco, the head of the Academic Affairs Department, and senior experts from various units, conducted comprehensive evaluations across multiple dimensions, including teaching design, classroom instruction, and reflective teaching.

During the one-day final, participating teachers demonstrated strong engagement and professionalism. They integrated ideological and political education into their curriculum, incorporated cutting-edge disciplinary content, and leveraged modern teaching methods. Each participant delivered a 20-minute live lesson followed by a 3-minute reflective session, showcasing a modern teaching model characterized by “curriculum-led ideological education, integration of disciplinary frontiers, and technology-enabled instruction,” highlighting the unique Sino-Russian cultural integration in teaching.
Following the panel’s evaluation, Wang Mengmeng from the Russian Language Center won the First Prize. Two teachers—Li Yixin from the Language Department and Nosova Maria Borisovna from the Russian Language Center—were awarded the Second Prize. Three teachers—Jiang Shan from the Chinese Language Center, Du Yikun from the Faculty of Materials Science, and Nikod Roy Royevich—received the Third Prize.

In his award speech, judging panel chair Prof. Sergey Ivanchenco emphasized: “Holding the competition on the birthday of Lomonosov, coinciding with Russian Higher Education Teachers’ Day, is highly meaningful. The professionalism and innovative spirit displayed by the participants are the best embodiment of the educator’s spirit.” After the ceremony, Prof. Ivanchenco took a group photo with all participants and judges.
This competition represents an important measure for deepening educational reform, providing young teachers with a platform for showcasing, exchanging ideas, and professional growth. Moving forward, the university will continue to improve teacher development mechanisms and fully leverage teaching competitions as a model and guide, ensuring a solid foundation for cultivating high-quality talent with an international perspective.
